The Flying Eagles of Nigeria has arrived the Argentinian city of Mendoza ahead of their FIFA U-20 W’Cup first fixture.
The national team led by Head Coach, Isah Ladan Bosso arrived at Aero Puerto International Airport, Mendoza. And they were received by NFF’s Head of International Competitions, Dayo Enebi Achor. And also officials of the Local Organizing Committee of the championship.

And according to on-ground sources, palpable fear is being observed in the camp of the opponent teams.
Nigeria is placed in the same Group D with Dominican Republic, Italy and five-time world champions Brazil.

“Football is a game of two halves. And anything can happen in both halves,” a Brazilian fan, Davide said.
“Nigeria is a good side, both at youth and senior level. But, it won’t be easy for either of teams in the group.

“We(Brazil) are going for the title. Once a Champion, always a champion. And I wish Nigeria all the best.”
Also, to show how prepared and excited Coach Bosso is, as they edge closer to their kickoff. The tactician applauded the team for their performance in a test game against Colombia U-20 last Tuesday.
According to Bosso, the boys are prepared and ready to go. He also thanked the Nigeria football authority for their support to the team.
On Sunday, Nigeria, will take on Dominican Republic at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas . And the kick-off is 7pm on Nigeria time.
A win against Dominican Republic will help ease the pressure and tension already brewing up in the camp of Nigeria.
And on Tuesday, 24 May, the team will look horns with Italy as they battle for progression into the next level.
On the last group fixture, on 27 May, Nigeria will encounter perennial rival and five-time world champions Brazil.
