Flying Eagles attacking midfielder Samson Lawal has experienced his first Scottish League defeat npflupdates.com reports.
The Flying Eagles midfielder joined Scottish outfit Livingston FC last August. And has since been training with the Reserve Team of the club, where his development is keenly monitored by club’s officials.

Following good impressions during his time with the Reserve Team, Samson was promoted to the first team. And in the recent past weeks, has been training and travelling to matches with the senior players.
Last Tuesday, in a Scottish League Cup against Hibernian, Samson dazzled in the midfield as Livingston cruise to a comfortable 3-1 victory. And of course, they’ll move to the next round where they will come up against Queen’s Park on Tuesday, 17, October 2023.

“A useful run-out for our Reserves on Tuesday, who opened their Reserve League Cup campaign with a 3-1 win over Hibernian,” a club’s official statement read after the league cup win.
“Minutes in the thank for a number of returning first teamers, and worthwhile experience for the younger members of the squad. Next up is a trip to face Queen’s Park on Tuesday, 17, October, at 2pm.”
Following the Flying Eagles performance on Tuesday, head coach David Martindale called him up for selection against Scottish League fixture Celtic.

Sadly, his debut ended in a 0-3 loss at home to the Scottish Champions. The teenager spent 19 minutes on the field and is hoping to bank on the experience in subsequent games.
Samson Lawal was with the Flying Eagles team at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament in Argentina. He featured in all five matches of the Isah Ladan Bosso’s team, and had one goal to his name.
